Scam callers don't guess your name. They buy it.
Names, home addresses, phone numbers and relatives are listed on people-search and data-broker sites, and anyone can buy them. SureShield finds those listings and files the removals for you — by hand, in your name.

"Good morning Robert — I'm calling about the account registered at 4218 Marlow Drive. Is Susan still on it?"
Addresses, relatives' names and phone numbers are collected and sold by data-broker sites. Those are the listings we take down.

Where the calls come from
The details were sold long before the phone rang.
Data brokers and people-search sites collect personal information and sell it legally, to anyone who pays. That is where a stranger on the phone gets a first name, a street, a daughter's name — and that borrowed detail is what makes the rest of the call sound real.
A single listing can carry all of this:
This is also why blocking numbers never ends it. The number changes; the listing doesn't. As long as the details sit there to be bought, the calls have a source to come from.
Every one of those sites has a way to be removed from. It is just buried, different on every site, and slow — a form here, an emailed request there, sometimes a verification step. That is the job we do for you.

You can't block your way out of a list you're on. You have to come off the list.
What happens after you sign up
Five steps. Only the first one involves you.
You fill in one short form
Your name, the addresses you have lived at, your phone numbers and email. It takes less than 30 seconds.
This is the only part you doWe search for your listings
We go through the people-search and data-broker sites and log every record that matches your details.
We file the removal on each site
Every site handles it differently — a form here, an emailed request there, sometimes a verification step. We work through them one at a time and remove your data from them.
What you can expect
Drastic reduction of spam / scam calls you get daily within 30 days.
What we ask you for — and what we never will
To find a listing we have to match it, so we need the same details the brokers already hold. Nothing beyond that.
What we will never ask for
- Your bank or card details
- Passwords of any kind
- Verification or security codes
- Your Social Security number
- Remote access to your computer
If anyone contacts you claiming to be SureShield and asks for anything in that list, it is not us. Hang up, and email support@getsureshield.com.
What removal can and can't do
Worth knowing before you pay, rather than after.
Some sites are quick. Some are slow. A few confirm within days. Others take weeks, and a handful only respond after the request has been filed more than once. We keep going either way.
Public records stay public. Property records, voter rolls and court filings are published by law. No removal service can take those down, and any service that tells you otherwise is overselling.
This is not a subscription. You pay once, we do the sweep properly, and if you want it run again down the line in one year time or so you decide then.
One payment. Everything included.
No packages to choose between, nothing else to buy, and nothing that renews.
